I got to visit Interplant Roses in the Netherlands, and it was seriously inspiring. It's a place where roses are born, and the people running it are what make it special. This isn't just some boring old flower farm; it's a family business that changed the world of flowers!

Meet the Super Team (They’re a Family! just like us!)

Imagine a family doing the same cool job for over 60 years. That’s Interplant!

Four Generations of Flower Power: The company started way back in 1962. Today, the third generation, Robert and Martin Ilsink, are in charge. But get this: the fourth generation of the family is already working there! They literally have flowers in their blood.
Passion is Key: Every person on the Interplant team, from the family to the scientists, loves what they do. They treat the flowers like gold. This passion is the secret ingredient that makes their roses the best.

They Invented the Best Rose You Use

Want a mind-blowing fact? The Spray Rose—that amazing rose with lots of tiny flowers on one stem—was invented by Interplant!

Before them, the cut flower world didn't have this flower. They didn't just breed a rose; they created a whole new style of flower arrangement. They are still the world leaders, always coming up with new types, like their fun #Ashtag roses.

Global Flower Testers: They don't just test roses in the Netherlands. They have special growing spots in Kenya, so they know their new roses can handle any type of weather and still look fantastic when they get to a florist anywhere in the world.
