Bloom In The Park 2025

This past weekend felt like Glastonbury for florists as Janette, Deirdre, and their other sister (who flew all the way from Inverness!) descended upon Bord Bia Bloom in Dublin's Phoenix Park.

It was an absolutely incredible day, and we spent most of our time beaming with pride, visiting and chatting with so many former Kays Flower School students who are running exceptional business, we love to celebrate their successes and continue to support them.

Kay’s Flower School florists are not just working in the the floristry industry, they are some of the finest and most successful florists in Ireland, shaping the landscape of commercial floral design in this country.

Our talented florists were everywhere you looked! We saw them working their magic with stunning florals in the IOF tent, leading captivating demonstrations across various platforms at the event, and even installing breathtaking, large-scale arrangements for corporate and banqueting areas. Some of our former students even lent their floral flair to decorate other vendors' stands, showcasing their incredible skills and dedication.

The day was truly exceptional. We felt like royalty as so many followers came up to chat with us – it was heartwarming!

We had beautiful encounters with a lovely group of school kids from Kilkenny, and a fabulous bunch of service users and their caregivers from St. Michael's House.

It was also wonderful to reconnect and chat with the Make-A-Wish Foundation, for whom we've had the privilege of granting wishes in the past. In a truly surprising moment, we were even asked by the Guards to get our photo with them!

Amidst countless laughs, we enjoyed a fabulous lunch courtesy of Neven Maguire in the Pavilion Tent, hosted by The Taste.

We left Bloom in "blooming great form," and were absolutely delighted to see ourselves featured on national TV (RTE's 6 & 9 o'clock news) and gracing the front pages of both the Independent and Examiner newspapers the very next day!

What a weekend!
