KFS Florist of the Year Awards 2025: Terms & Conditions
Please read these terms and conditions carefully before participating in the KFS Florist of the Year Awards 2025. By participating, you agree to abide by these terms.
1. Eligibility for Nomination
Global Reach: Nominations are open to any florist located anywhere in the world. We believe in celebrating talent across the globe!
Florist Categories: Nominations are accepted for the following categories:
Wedding Florist of the Year
Retail Florist of the Year
Studio Florist of the Year
Freelance Florist of the Year
Newcomer Florist of the Year (for florists with two years or less experience in the industry)
The Overall KFS Florist of the Year (this will be an internal selection based on nominations, voting, and overall impact, as detailed in the award description).
2. Nomination Process
Opening & Closing Dates: Nominations will open on Friday, June 7th, 2025, and will close promptly at midnight on Friday, July 18th, 2025 (Irish Standard Time). No nominations will be accepted after this deadline.
One Category Per Nomination: You can only nominate a florist for one specific category per nomination submission.
One Nomination Per Email: Each unique email address can be used to submit a nomination only once. Duplicate nominations from the same email for the same florist/category will be disregarded.
Accuracy: Please ensure the information provided in your nomination is accurate and complete.
3. Finalist Selection & Notification
Collation: After the nomination period closes, our team will meticulously collate all nominations to determine the finalists in each category.
Finalist Notification: Finalists in each category will be notified via email on Thursday 24th July, 2025.
4. Voting Process
Voting Period: Public voting for the finalists will open on Friday, July 25th, 2025, and will close at midnight on Friday, August 1st, 2025 (Irish Standard Time).
Fair Play: Any attempt to manipulate votes (e.g., using bots, fake accounts) will result in immediate disqualification of the nominated florist. Our team reserves the right to review and invalidate suspicious votes.
One Vote Per Email: Each unique email address can be used to cast one vote per category.
5. Awards Ceremony & Prizes
Winners Announcement: Winners in all categories will be announced live at our Online Awards Ceremony on Friday, August 8th, 2025, at 7:00 PM (Irish Standard Time). Details on how to access the online ceremony will be shared closer to the date.
Prizes: Prizes for category winners are sponsored by our valued partners. These typically consist of vouchers for products/services from our sponsors, as detailed in our sponsorship outreach. Prizes are non-transferable and have no cash alternative.
Recognition: Winners will receive a digital certificate featuring their achievement and sponsor logos.
6. General Conditions
Publicity: By participating, nominees and finalists agree to allow KFS Florist of the Year Awards to use their name, business name, and submitted details for promotional purposes related to the awards across our website, social media, and other marketing channels.
Disqualification: KFS Florist of the Year Awards reserves the right to disqualify any nominee or winner who violates these terms and conditions or engages in conduct deemed inappropriate or unsportsmanlike.
Changes to Terms: KFS Florist of the Year Awards reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be published on our website.
Decision Final: All decisions made by KFS Florist of the Year Awards regarding nominations, finalists, voting, and winners are final.
